Volunteer

We are business leaders. We are educators. We are retirees and college students. We are parents and grandparents. We are long-time Clermont County residents and we are new members of the community. And we are 100% volunteers.

Sign up to Volunteer:

KLICWow is a major undertaking that will require hundreds of volunteer hours, spread across a period of several weeks.  Your volunteer time could be as an individual or as a team leader. If you are a coach, a scout troop leader, or a student leader wanting to polish your resume for college or job applications, this is a great opportunity.

Some examples of the volunteer roles:

  • Organize a team project to raise money... a car wash, a bake sale, a lemonade stand, an event in your community or your company, or something larger.

  • Help identify and approach local businesses for monetary contributions or items that will be distributed in the WOW Pouches. (Thank you to Patterson Dental Supply, HealthSource of Ohio, Alison Taylor State Farm Agent, Child Focus, United Way Success By Six, CCPL, the Coalition for a Drug Free Clermont County and the Clermont YMCA for contributing items to the Wow Pouches for our 2023 distributions and to Phil Dodge for the American flags distributed during the last several distributions.)

  • Before distribution days, we sometimes need extra hands to help stuff WOW Pouches and prepare tablets.

  • On distribution days, we will need volunteers to help with training parents on the tablet's parental controls, registering parents/guardians, and actually distributing tablets and WOW pouches. (Thank you to the great volunteers who helped make everything run smoothly at our five 2023 distributions: Debbie, Renee, Chris, Polly, Katie, Erika, Chelsie, Laura, Linda, Phil and John.)

  • Finally, we appreciate all who get the word out about the project and inspire community members to get involved. First and foremost, KLICWOW is all about the Clermont County community stepping up to support early learning!
